Here's the reason: Our local used book store is going out of business after over 20 years in business. I had purchased a Groupon certificate last year for the store. I was planning on going in February but my mom informed me the store was closing this week. I had to hightail it over there and use it. Typically I probably would get 2-3 books with my certificate and store credit but considering the closing...the employees were doing all discounts and generosity possible. So with my store credit and $10 certificate, I only spent $6 for my 10 books.
I really lucked out because almost all were on my Wish List or Fill-In-The-Gaps Project list. Yeah!

Haha... yep that's how it works. We just need to buy books :)
But so great you could buy that many books at $6! Awesome. Just enjoy it. You could buy worse things than books, that's what I always say. So will you go again this Friday? I bet you will! Have fun...
I haven't went yet. Hopefully I'll stay away. And you're right, there are worse ways to spend $6.
Sucks they are closing but oh man a close out sale? Just a couple of books wouldn't be bad, would it? And then that's it no more Bree! :)
Thanks for the permission, Jenny. LOL
No, you should go. I mean, it's only out of loyalty to this place that has been so good to you. It would be a really nice gesture on your part to go and spend $6 on their closeout sale. It would totally be for them, not you. ;)
Oh that's a nice way to think about it and not make me feel guilty.
