Peppy Pepperoni Rolls
This recipe is easy-peasy. Perfect for the upcoming Super Bowl game gatherings. It actually comes from a magazine page called "Super Bowl Bash." The rolls are very tasty.
1 can refrigerated soft bread sticks
1/2 teaspoon dried Italian herb seasoning (I used a garlic bread seasoning)
2 ounces sliced pepperoni, cut in half (about 1/2 cup)
1 jar (4 ounces) pimiento strips, drained and finely chopped (I didn't use these)
1. Heat over to 350. Lightly grease baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray. Gently unroll dough. Sprinkle Italian seasoning evenly over dough. Separate at perforations into eight bread sticks (or whatever your dough is separated into. Mine was 10 sticks).
2. Arrange 6 to 8 pepperoni halves and then about half a tablespoon of pimiento along length of each bread stick. Gently roll up each and place, flat side down, on baking sheet. Tuck in any stray pieces.
3. Bake 14 to 16 minutes until golden brown. Serve immediately or keep warm in oven until ready to serve.
