Cooking My Way: Caramelized Onions

I have never made caramelized onions in a frying pan.  Usually, I slow cook them all day in a crockpot with some brown sugar.  But I don't have a crockpot so I followed The Kitchn's recipe for some yummy goodness.  It was so easy.  Basically, you cut up the onion, put in a pan with some butter and let them cook.

Final Product

I like my onions really done.  Look how yummy they look.  They taste so delicious on burgers.  I've also put them on grilled cheese sandwiches.
