Thanks so much to the creator of my new banner: Christy at Reading Beyond the Middle and Living
Vasilly (Natasha) blogs at 1330V
1. She was my first Secret Santa swap. I had so much fun shopping for Natasha. The swap was when and how I met her. At the time, we were both college students majoring in English. Our connection went even further. We've both lived in Long Beach, California and we are single mothers.
2. Natasha reads a crazy amount of books. Don't even get me started on what she reads for school, add to that number the amount she reads aloud for her kids. Then add the amount she reads for her personal pleasure. Where does she find the time?
3. Not only does she read a LOT, she reads an eclectic assortment of books from graphic novels to serious literary fiction to non-fiction. I mean seriously the range that she reads is awe-inspiring.
4. Although she is extremely busy with school and kids, she still finds the time to help create community with book bloggers. She helps with readathons, a new book club (Chunky Book Club) for 2012, cheerleads for events, leads discussions on Twitter, judges events in addition to all the reviews, etc. she does.
5. We have great conversations via email. I feel like I've known her in person for years.
Thank You Secret Santa book blogger swap for introducing me to this amazing reader, writer, mother, student, person, woman!

What an amazing post, Bree! I am so thankful that I know you. I appreciate you and feel like we've known each other for so much longer than we do. Thanks for making my day so much brighter.
