Yay I'm up to 14 books for the month, only 1 book behind my 20 in 30 schedule. Out of the above books, I really enjoyed
Midnight for Charlie Bone by
Jenny Nimmo. It reminds me of a play on Harry Potter and I can't wait to get the second installment. Similar story structure - Charlie discovers he has a secret power (is endowed as the book calls it), gets sent to a special school, has to solve a mystery, makes friends and enemies along the way. It kept me entertained and I read it in one day, wishing I had the second one so I could immediately start it.
Did not finish either of these books. Creepers I only read a few pages before putting down and Princess Academy I got 100 pages into it and decided I just didn't care about the characters.

ReplyDeleteLinda - don't sweat it. 14 is HIGHLY unusual for me too. I've just been focusing on reading and have not been working a crazy amount of hours.
ReplyDeleteVasilly - 10 is good too. Plus you have school and 3 little ones to take care of. If I were you, I wouldn't even be at 10.
